Pennsylvania House is a purpose built family run B&B located just minutes from the ancient market town of Letterkenny and commands a majestic panoramic view of the Donegal hills. Our B&B accommodation will provide you on your visit to Donegal with everything and more you could desire, in terms of location, quality rooms and excellent service. Our accommodation comprises of six luxury spacious ensuite rooms with some located on the ground floor. Each has it's own tastefully coordinated colour scheme, firm comfortable beds in a choice King, Queen or Double. You are welcome to use the guest sitting room, if you prefer to unwind away from the bedroom. Special diets catered for with advanced notice. Packed lunches available when ordered at time of booking. Restaurant and pub located within 10 minutes walk. Light self-catering facilities available for guest use. Tea/coffee served on arrival and available during your stay. Our home is not suitable for small children and best suits families with children of 12 years and older. You will arrive a stranger and leave as a friend. A Céad Mile Fáilte awaits you.

Pennsylvania House is situated in a central location for exploring the rugged unspoilt scenery of the Northwest Atlantic coastline of Ireland, yet we are minutes away from the town of Letterkenny with all it's amenities. Pennsylvania House can also be used as a base for you to explore northern Ireland, particularly Derry walls, and the Giants Causeway in Antrim, among many other beautiful sights. Letterkenny is the largest town in County Donegal, and is situated at the base of the picturesque Lough Swilly. The town is located 35 miles north of Donegal Town and 20 miles west of Derry in Northern Ireland.

How To Get Here

Pennsylvania house is located on the N56. When approaching Letterkenny from Ballybofey or Derry, continue into town until you arrive at the Station Roundabout. Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout, then continue 200m until mini roundabout at Oatfield Sweet Factory. Take 1st exit (sharp left) up De Valera Road (steep hill), past the firestation on the left, until reaching hospital roundabout. Take 3rd exit (Kilmacrennan road N56). Continue for 3km, through the next roundabout until you come to the Mountain Top Roundabout. Take the 1st exit off the Knockmona roundabout. Pennsylvania House is is well signposted from here.
